Description:

This desk has been beautifully made from flame mahogany by a craftsman and embellished with attractive inlaid crossbanding around the drawer fronts and the top.

The rectangular top is fitted with a triple-inset gold-toiled leather writing surface, and the drawers are oak-lined and fitted with brass “drop” handles typical of the period, which add elegance to this sumptuous item.

The desk features three drawers in the frieze, with a further three drawers in the left-hand pedestal and two drawers in the right-hand pedestal, the lower one being a double-depth file drawer. It also has a handy pull-out slide on each pedestal, which has also been fitted with inset leather.
This desk is certain to enhance the style of any living area and is offered in fully restored, ready-to-use condition.
In excellent condition, having been beautifully cleaned, polished, and releathered in our workshop.
