A wonderfully solid country oak refectory dining suite, comprising a heavy plank-top table and eight matching oak and leather chairs. The top is the highlight — close to 3 inches of solid oak with cleated ends and a warm, settled patina — carried on a traditional refectory base of turned legs braced by a central stretcher. Weighty and built to last, it has the kind of distinctive, lived-in look that only comes with age. The eight chairs split into two carvers and six singles, their seats and backs covered in dark green leather and dressed with large brass studs. A practical bonus: the top lifts clear of the base for easier moving. Offered throughout in good used condition.
