This is a stunning antique kingwood, walnut, marquetry, and ormolu-mounted Louis Revival serpentine-fronted commode, circa 1880.

Description:
The chest has a gonzalo alves cross-banded top with decorative ormolu surround, a central pannel featuring a ribbon-tied floral bouquet, over three drawers with floral marquetry decoration, and ormolu rococo-style handles.
The sides are decorated with cornucopia and foliage and raised on angular, swept legs with a serpentine apron and ormolu sabots.
A lot of intricate detailing has gone into the creation of this chest.
In really excellent condition, having been beautifully cleaned, polished, and waxed in our workshops, please see photos for confirmation.
