This is an elegant antique aesthetic period burr maple and ebonized writing table, Stamped ‘Edwards & Roberts’ circa 1870.

Description:

This elegant desk is crafted from the most beautiful maple with ebony banded decoration and ormolu beaded stringing.
The rectangular top is inset with a gold-toiled, dark green leather writing surface above two frieze drawers. It is raised on elegant twin-turned and fluted column supports joined by a decorative stretcher and raised on outswept legs.
It is finished on all sides so that it can stand freely in the center of your room.

Complete with working locks and keys.

In really excellent condition, having been beautifully cleaned, polished, and waxed in our workshop.
