The ribbon mahogany is striking, the proportions are right, and the fitted interior is what sets it apart — eight drawers, a storage cube, and five concealed drawers, the kind of clever arrangement Georgian cabinetmakers did so well. String inlay, shield escutcheons, brass drop handles, and bracket feet complete the picture. Dating to 1800–1820 and remarkably well preserved, it remains in excellent original condition.
